New York, NY – January 15, 2026 — Secure Payments Academy, in partnership with the Secure Technology Alliance (STA), announced today that Mansour Aaron Karimzadeh, founder and lead instructor of Secure Payments Academy, will deliver a half-day, in-person training session titled “Payments Fundamentals: Payments, EMV, and Mobile” at the Identity & Payments Summit. The summit will be held on March 4, 2026, at the Westin Galleria, Houston, Texas.
This collaborative training reflects a shared commitment by Secure Payments Academy and Secure Technology Alliance to advance industry knowledge and best practices across the payments and identity ecosystem. The session will run from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and is designed for professionals seeking a practical, end-to-end understanding of modern payment technologies and security fundamentals.
The course is organized into three comprehensive modules:
- Module 1 – Payment System Overview
An introduction to payment ecosystems, transaction flows, key stakeholders, and associated risks. - Module 2 – EMV Fundamentals
A deep dive into EMV technology, transaction types, cryptography concepts, and EMV’s role in reducing fraud. - Module 3 – NFC and Mobile Payments
